Due to  the overall prevalence of "phishing" and "pharming" scams, Belt  Valley Bank would like to remind our customers to take the proper precautions while navigating the web. Never provide your Social Security number, passwords, card, pin or account numbers in response to an unsolicited request.  If you did not initiate the communication, you should not provide anyinformation.  Some customers are reporting different variations of the following pop-up messages while accessing Belt Valley Bank’s Online Banking website.

These messages are NOT originating from Belt Valley Bank. These are fraudulent messages that attempt to illegally obtain a credit card number or personal account information.  You should never click on a pop up site offering a free service and provide your credit card information.
